Preaching the uncompromised Word of God, exalting the Lord Jesus Christ, and extending a loving hand of fellowship to families across Berry, Harrison County, and Northern Kentucky.
Gathering in Berry, KY to worship God in spirit and in truth.
Riverview Baptist Church is an independent, fundamental, Bible-believing local assembly of baptized believers in Berry, Kentucky.
In a fast-changing world, we stand firm on the timeless truths of God's Word. We exclusively preach and teach from the Authorized King James Version (KJV 1611) of the Holy Bible. Our goal is to glorify God, lead lost souls to salvation through Jesus Christ, edify believers through sound doctrine, and build strong Christian homes.
Whether you are a lifelong believer seeking an old-fashioned, Bible-centered church home, or you are searching for answers about God's purpose for your life, our church family warmly welcomes you with open arms.
Pastor Aaron Jackson is dedicated to clearly proclaiming the unadulterated gospel of the grace of God and shepherding the flock with compassion, biblical truth, and pastoral care.
"On behalf of our entire congregation at Riverview Baptist Church, my family and I would like to extend a heartfelt personal invitation to you and your family. If you live in Berry, Cynthiana, Falmouth, or the surrounding counties, we would be honored to have you worship the Lord with us this Sunday."
We hold firmly to the historic Baptist faith and the foundational doctrines of the King James Bible. Here is a summary of our biblical convictions:
We believe the Holy Bible is the verbally and plenary inspired Word of God. We believe God has supernaturally preserved His Word for the English-speaking people in the Authorized King James Version (KJV 1611), which is the final and absolute authority for all matters of faith, doctrine, and practice.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 • Psalm 12:6-7We believe in one God, eternally existing in three co-equal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Each person executes distinct but harmonious offices in the great work of redemption.
1 John 5:7 • Matthew 28:19We believe in the virgin birth, sinless life, absolute deity, vicarious blood atonement, physical bodily resurrection, and victorious ascension of Jesus Christ to the right hand of the Father.
Isaiah 7:14 • 1 Corinthians 15:3-4We believe that salvation is a free gift of God, received solely by grace through personal faith in Jesus Christ, apart from any human works, baptism, or sacrament. Believers are eternally secure in Christ.
Ephesians 2:8-9 • John 10:28-29We believe the local church is a self-governing congregation of baptized believers. Its scriptural ordinances are Believer's Baptism by full immersion and the Lord's Supper.
Acts 2:41-42 • Matthew 28:19-20We believe in the imminent, pretribulational rapture of the saved, followed by the bodily premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth to establish His reign.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 • Titus 2:13Visiting a new church can be intimidating. Here is what you can expect when you step through the doors at Riverview Baptist Church:
You will be greeted with genuine Kentucky hospitality, given a bulletin, and assisted in finding seats or children's classes.
We sing the great hymns of the Christian faith from the hymnal with piano accompaniment that exalts the Lord.
Pastor Aaron Jackson preaches directly from the King James Bible with clear, practical, verse-by-verse application for daily life.
Clean, loving nursery care and age-appropriate Sunday School classes are available for your infants and children.
According to the King James Bible, salvation is not earned through good works or church membership. It is a free gift through Jesus Christ alone.
